This Notice Applies To All Utah Bars and Restaurants
Legislation Effective May 5, 2008:
" A restaurant liquor licensee may sell or provide a primary spirituous liquor only in a quantity not
to exceed 1.5 ounces per beverage dispensed through a calibrated metered dispensing system approved by
the department... "
This means your metered dispensing systems need to be calibrated if you would like to pour the new volumes.
USC Spirit, Berg, Tech Control Systems:
These systems need to be reprogrammed and require a service call to complete calibration changes.
Clicker Exchange is offering a change-over service which can be done before the law goes into effect.
The demand for technicians will be high on May 5th and days following. By taking advantage of this
change-over service, you will be guaranteed a seamless change the very day the law goes into effect.
For more information about this change-over service or to schedule an appointment, please call the
number listed above.
Liq-Trol / Kwik-Shot Clickers:
Don't be tricked in to paying anyone to perform this service. It can be performed
by anyone. Liq-Trol and Kwik-Shot dispensers can be easily calibrated to 1.5 ounce pours by
removing all of the disks inside the body of the clicker. The disks are located in side the body
and held in by the base/adapter. Remove the base/adapter by securely holding the body and
unscrewing the adapter.
